A rubric is a way of grading a user’s performance on assignments by criteria and levels of achievement. Rubrics can be used to assess items in the Discussion, Dropbox, Quizzing, and Grades tools. You can create both Analytic and Holistic rubrics.

- RUBRICS: CREATING AN ANALYTIC RUBRIC — Learn how to create an analytic rubric in OAKS. Analytic rubrics may use a points, custom points or text only scoring method. Points and custom points analytic rubrics may use both text and points to assess performance; with custom points, each criterion may be worth a different amount of points.
